Fair State requires proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or negative test for indoor service at the taproom. Learn more.

The taproom and beer garden are open and no reservations are required. Effective Thursday, January 6, masks are required for everyone ages 2+ when not actively drinking or eating in accordance with the city-wide mask mandate for public gathering spaces.

For indoor service, Fair State requires either proof of a full course of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test administered by a provider within the last 72 hours for everyone ages 5+.

Proof of vaccination or negative test must be shown at the bar upon entry and must clearly match the guest’s ID. All guests will receive a hand stamp.

Acceptable proof of vaccination includes:

  • A physical card
  • A photo of a complete vaccination card
  • Digital immunization records such as Docket or Clear

A variety of negative tests will be accepted, including:

  • Minnesota Department of Health (Vault)
  • An email from the guest’s testing provider
  • Please note screenshots and printouts of test results will not be accepted. Rapid at-home tests are not accepted.

Yep, kids are welcome! Proof of a full course of COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test administered by a provider within the last 72 hours, is required for everyone ages 5+. Any risk or exposure for children under the age of 5 is at the parent’s discretion.

Dogs are allowed only in the beer garden, but must remain leashed and within 6 feet of their owners at all times.

You’re welcome to bring in outside food. A pro-tip is to pick it up on your way to us!

We also offer Aki’s pretzels Tuesdays–Saturdays, and pizzas every day. Vegetarian options available.

Yep! All flavors of our hard seltzers are gluten free, although they are still made in a facility that processes gluten.

We have gluten-free hard seltzer, a non-alcoholic beer, and other non-alcoholic options for those who do not drink beer. We also have a wide variety of beer styles available, including some with fruity and tart flavor profiles that may appeal to those who typically opt for cider or wine.

Our taproom is located at 2506 Central Ave NE, right between Recovery Bike Shop and Aki’s Pretzels.

There’s plenty of street parking near the taproom—just make sure to pay attention to parking signs. Metro Transit lines 32 & 10 stop within one block of the taproom and bike racks are available along Central Ave.

We do not have a location that’s open to the public in Saint Paul, but our office and production facility is located in Saint Paul.
