That’s the vision of @esneighborhood, our Cooperates partner for the rest of 2023. East Side Neighborhood Services has been a centerpiece of the Northeast Minneapolis community for over a century, now reaching throughout Hennepin County.
What are some of the ways they support our community?

It turns out The Key to Happiness is a dunkel, a traditional German style of beer that’s suited for the season: dark, malty, and crisp. This low ABV but full-flavored beer was made in collaboration with the two brilliant lager brewers that started Gold Dot Beer: Lisa Allen (formerly of Heater Allen Brewing) and Kevin Davey (formerly of Wayfinder Brewing). We’ve brewed with both before, and as soon as their new brewery became public we knew we had to work with these two again—and we think you’ll love the result.

Join us this Thursday to raise funds for Our Justice, one of our 2023 Cooperates partners! Their staff will join us in the beer garden to talk about the importance of sustained community support to ensure abortion care remains accessible in Minnesota.

It’s our first time using flash frozen Cryo hops (thanks Niko and @YakimaChief!) and we couldn’t be happier with the result: a hazy IPA with a very fresh and bright Citra hop aroma and mega mango notes.🥭🥭🥭

We promise we aren`t getting any preferential treatment from Yakima Chief Hops just because our founding brewer is all of a sudden our hop supplier. The hops in this Hazy IPA were flash frozen right off the vine and shipped straight to us for immediate brewing, resulting in super bright and fresh aroma notes of Citra hops and mango.🥭
