Hey early birds! We’re gathering a group of volunteers to help SACA Food Shelf with their Harvest Produce Drop on Saturday, August 27 from 7:30–11:30 am. SACA uses volunteers to help hand out free, locally grown, freshly harvested produce to folks who cannot otherwise afford it.

Customers will stay in their car (except for opening their trunk or back of an SUV) the entire time. No produce will be given directly to them, but placed directly into their vehicle.

Volunteers will be assigned to either sort produce, bag or box it up, or bring it to the car. SACA will have carts available to gather up the produce.

SACA will also supply water, coffee and donuts.
