We’re returning to Ole Olson Park with Friends of the Mississippi River to get our hands dirty by helping to restore the natural habitat along the river! Friends of the Mississippi River is our June Cooperates partner and we’ve been lucky to be able to volunteer with them at Ole Olson Park for the past three years.

We’re gathering a group to help with pulling or cutting invasive plants from the prairie and possibly a small amount of planting. All volunteers should wear comfortable clothing, including layers depending on weather. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are necessary. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle and sunscreen!
