Lorien is a brand new hop from Indie Hops in Oregon. They describe it as “magical, exhilarating, and festive,” say that it reminds them of “tangy fresh fruit and the feeling of a summer meadow near a mountain stream,” and suggest that it is “conducive to celebration and appetite.” Give that copywriter a medal. We smelled it at hop selection this year, and it’s pretty good stuff. We teamed up with our friends at Single Hill Brewing in Yakima, WA, and made a single hop pilsner with it. Hopefully you enjoy!
