New Beer Thursday: Focus Group NA
Focus Group is our first foray into non-alcoholic IPAs. It’s fermented with a special non-Saccharomyces yeast (specifically, it’s a strain of Hanseniaspora uvarum) from our friends at Escarpment Labs in Canada, which is a super low-attenuation yeast that still produces a beer-like product, just with greatly reduced ethanol levels. We chose to use a high percentage of oats, and hop it entirely with our hand-selected Mosaic.
