During draft night, we’re donating $1 from every tap pour to this month’s Cooperates partner, My Very Own Bed.

My Very Own Bed has one goal: to provide new beds to children moving into stable housing. In addition to a new bed, they put together Dream Kits that contain sheets, blanket, pillow, mattress pad, stuffed animal, and book. If you’d like to bring a contribution to the taproom, we’re looking for new, twin-size:
● Mattress pads
● Sheets
● Blankets or comforters
● Pillows
● Small stuffed animals

ABOUT MY VERY OWN BED
My Very Own Bed has one goal: to provide new beds to children moving into stable housing. By 2022, they’ve provided more than 4,000 beds and Dream Kits to children ages 2-17 in the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs. My Very Own Bed provides a new bed, set of sheets, blanket, pillow, mattress pad, stuffed animal, and book to children who might otherwise go without. The impact is immediate; improving where and how children sleep improves their overall health and well being.

ABOUT FAIR STATE COOPERATES
In 2016, we launched our community engagement arm, Fair State Cooperates. Each month we partner with a different nonprofit organization selected by our member-owners. Through these partnerships, we raise funds through beer sales, awareness through social media, and involvement through volunteering.
