I love to see movies. I’ve been going to the Trylon and the Heights as much as I can.

I am on a trivia team that competes as often as possible at Wednesday Night Trivia at Fair State. We’ve even won.

I am thrilled for this opportunity to be more involved in my community and help Fair State be successful in the good they are doing!

Why are you excited to serve on the board?

I’m excited to participate in steering our friendly neighborhood beer cooperative into its next phase of existence and to do what I can to reward our community for its support and loyalty.

Favorite Fair State product

Roselle was my original go-to, but for the past couple years I’ve been putting away pilsners like I own the place.

Favorite way to enjoy a beer

Best way to enjoy a beer is with good company. If you want to get pedantic… in a mug, ice cold, and discretely when you’re not technically supposed to—say around a campfire at a national park, not that I’m admitting to such a thing—are also in the mix.

Hobbies or interests

I am an avid collector of hobbies and interests. The ones that have stuck include playing summer baseball on a men’s adult baseball team, climbing year round at Minneapolis Bouldering Project, coaching my kid’s soccer, hockey, and baseball teams, ice skating, hiking, traveling, the beach, movies, and good TV. I’m also into board games and love trivia!

What else you want members to know

I know the future is a little blurry for the co-op right now, but this is a good product enjoyed by good people and I will do everything I can to help keep the doors open. This is a great gathering place in the heart of Northeast and I, like many of our members, want it to stay that way for a long time to come.
