Strange Symmetry is a schwarzbier that was lagered in our oak foeder, which imparts some perceived sweetness and smooths out the body. It has a pleasant malt presence with a little toastiness—a flavor somewhere between whole wheat toast and S’mores Pop Tarts.

Dry hopped with Pacific Crest for a little extra pizzazz, this Italian Pils is on the hoppy side of balanced. In our opinion (and hopefully Doug’s), this pilsner is 10/10.
