25th & Harrison
Dark Chocolate Foeder-aged Stout
Northeast Minneapolis is an easy place to navigate if you know your US Presidents (the North-South streets) and can count (the East-West ones) – at least in most places. Our home in NE, at the corner of Lowry and Central, is located at a weird nexus of two non-standard streets. Were it named conventionally, our intersection would be 25th & Harrison. In honor of this minor realization, we present to you a delightful stout well-suited to those contemplative moments where you realize semi-useless things.
25th & Harrison is a dark chocolate stout aged on cacao nibs in our American Oak foeder for approximately one month. Light in ABV, and yet hefty enough to handle the rich chocolate, mild oak tannin, and woody marshmallow notes we get from this beer.
Tasting Notes
Dark chocolate, mild tannin, roasty malt notes, lightly sweet, lots of body
Process Notes
Aged in oak for about four weeks
