Alpine Lager is a totally made up style, but the idea was to brew a beer that tasted like the way the air at the top of a mountain smells. It’s a crispy pale lager brewed with noble hops, foraged spruce tips from Duluth, and lemon balm. The result is a bright, citrusy lager that evokes, well, the Alps. We hope. We typically don’t get weird with lagers, but after our first try at this beer in 2019, we knew we were onto something.
