There’s always a new hot hop variety out there, but sometimes as a brewer you immediately get a sense that this one is going to be something really cool. We had that feeling about Strata way back in 2016, and we’ve got it about Luminosa here in 2023. This is the newest hop from our friends at Indie Hops in Oregon, and it is wild. “Straight orange soda” was our sensory note on the selection table, and this beer does not disappoint. Blended here with some of Oregon’s finest aroma hops, Jacuzzi Suit pops with big juicy citrus, tropical fruits, and a hint of classic pine trees.
